Announcements week of 30 March 2008
- Thank you to everyone who helped Saturday with the cleaning on the inside of the building. We had a very productive day. We would also like to thank Carolyn Rice and Christine Lones for the great lunch they provided all the workers!
- A reminder to everyone that our A.M. worship services are recorded each Sunday. These recordings are available on the website. Alternatively, if you would like a CD, see Glenn and he will be glad to make you a copy.
- Please check your family’s information in the “Member Directory” of the website as we are getting ready to print new directories based on the info that we have on the website. If you find errors or corrections that need to be made, please email the Administrator or see Michael at services.
- Please check the list on the bulletin board in the building and sign up to help clean the building and prepare communion trays. Also, please sign up to carry communion to our shut-ins. They would also enjoy your company.
Prayer Requests / Sick List
- John Morgan (Susan Record’s father) had bypass surgery on Monday the 1st. The surgery went well, but the doctors needed to perfrom 4 bypasses, instead of two as originally planned. As of 11 AM on Monday, he is out of surgery, and will soon be moved to ICU for observation. Keep him in your prayers.
- Phil Harris’s father is in the rehab center recuperating from his extended illness. Keep him in your prayers.
- Samantha Pickette (co-worker of Pat Steele) has been diagnosed with cancer. Please keep her in your prayers.
- Betty Ann Broman will be having surgery this week. Please keep her in your prayers.
- James Keith (friend of Pam MacLean) is having a lung biopsy. Keep him in your prayers
- Anthony Hewlett is having blood pressure issues. Please keep him in your prayers.
- Katrina Havron is doing much better. Her kidneys and the rest of her organs are functioning, and the doctors have given the family much more hope for her recovery. She is still in Huntsville Hospital ICU, but seems to be doing much better. Continue to keep Katrina and her family in your prayers.
- Ronny Henegar (Chuck Boyett’s nephew, Michele Clements’ cousin) has been diagnosed with cancer. Please keep this family in your prayers.
- Lois Morgan’s daughter is having health issues. Please keep her in your prayers.
- Fay Golden has undergone a series of medical tests. All of her tests came back negative, but they still do not know the source of her spells. Please remember Fay in your prayers.
- Remember Lois Morgan in your prayers as the doctors try to find out what caused her weak spells.
- Frankie Gallimore’s brother is still in a nursing facility and in need of our prayers. Frankie’s father is at home now.
- Remember Paula South’s mother in your prayers as she recovers from her broken arm.
- Remember Sylvester Viaclousky (Evelyn Miles’s grandson) in your prayers as he is currently deployed to Iraq.
- Continue to remember James Barnett (Betty Ann Broman’s father) in your prayers as he struggles with health issues.
- Continue to remember Ruth Masters, who is at home recovering from hip replacement surgery.
- Alma Vanderlinden continues to struggle with thyroid problems.

- The area ministers meeting this month is open to all who would like to attend. It will be Monday March 10th, at Randolph church of Christ. The topic this month is the history of the Lord’s Church in Madison County, Alabama, with Wayne Kilpatrick speaking.

The young men from Maysville Church of Christ will be presenting their Lads to Leaders speeches at our Sunday night service on March 9th. After the service, we will have desserts and soft drinks for refreshments. Please plan to attend to encourage these young men.
