Announcements week of 27 April 2008
- Thank you to everyone who came to Friends and Family Day! It was a great day of Worship, fellowship, and fun!
- A baby shower will be held for Megan and Hobie Tyler after evening services on May 18th. They are registered at Walmart & Babies -R-Us. It’s a BOY!
- A reminder to everyone that our A.M. worship services are recorded each Sunday. These recordings are available on the website. Alternatively, if you would like a CD, see Glenn and he will be glad to make you a copy.
- Please check your family’s information in the “Member Directory” of the website as we are getting ready to print new directories based on the info that we have on the website. If you find errors or corrections that need to be made, please email the Administrator or see Michael at services.
- Please check the list on the bulletin board in the building and sign up to help clean the building and prepare communion trays. Also, please sign up to carry communion to our shut-ins. They would also enjoy your company.

- Bill McGehee had a weak spell last week and fell and hit his head. Remember Bill and Jessie in your prayers.
- Carolyn Rice’s mother has been in the hospital with blood pressure problems. She is now at home, and Carolyn has gone to help her.
- Remember Megan & Hobie Tyler in your prayers as Megan has had some sickness with her pregnancy.
- Remember Kim & Jason Britton in your prayers. Kim is pregnant with twins, and is having some bad days with the pregnancy.
- Harry Chandler (co-worker of Dwight Steele) passed away Friday afternoon. Remember his family in your prayers.
- John Morgan (Susan Record’s father) had bypass surgery on Monday the 1st. The surgery went well, but the doctors needed to perfrom 4 bypasses, instead of two as originally planned. He is now at home recovering and doing much better. Keep him in your prayers.
- Samantha Pickette (co-worker of Pat Steele) has been diagnosed with cancer and has had surgery. Please keep her in your prayers.
- James Keith (friend of Pam MacLean) had a lung biopsy. Keep him in your prayers.
- Katrina Havron is doing much better. Her kidneys and the rest of her organs are functioning, and the doctors have given the family much more hope for her recovery. She is still in Huntsville Hospital ICU, but seems to be doing much better. Continue to keep Katrina and her family in your prayers.
- Ronny Henegar (Chuck Boyett’s nephew, Michele Clements’ cousin) has been diagnosed with cancer. Please keep this family in your prayers.
- Lois Morgan’s daughter is having health issues. Please keep her in your prayers.

Friends and Family Day
We will be having a “Friends and Family Day” on April 27th. Weather permitting, we will plan to have an outside lunch after A.M. services and an afternoon of fellowship and activities. The evening service that day will be at 2:00PM, and will be a singing service. Please invite friends and family to join us.

Grounds Clean up day(s)
We will be having a day to clean the grounds around the building on April 12th, weather permitting. We will meet at the building at 7AM.
April 19th is designated as a “make up” day if weather does not permit us to work on the 12th, or if all the work is not complete.
“Friends and Family Day” April 27th
We will be having a “Friends and Family Day” on April 27th. Weather permitting, we will plan to have an outside lunch after A.M. services and an afternoon of fellowship. There will not be a P.M. service that day. Please invite friends and family to join us.
Gospel Meeting August 3-6
We will have a gospel meeting August 3 – 6 this year (Sunday – Wednesday). The speaker will be Roy Sharp. Make plans now to attend!
