Announcements Week of March 22, 2009

  • We will not have our regular singing service Sunday evening the 29th.  The Maysville young men will be presenting their Lads to Leaders speeches.
  • The budget for fiscal year 2009 is available in the member’s area of the website.

Prayer Requests / Sick List

  • Francis Martin is having health problems.
  • Kitty Gallimore is sick at home.  The doctors think she may have bronchial pneumonia.
  • Darrell Vanderlinden (Alma’s husband, Pam MacLean’s father) is back at home now recovering from his surgery and seems to be doing much better.
  • Alma Vanderlinden is still having health problems.  She is very weak.  The doctors have are hopeful that the medicine that they have her on will eventually help with her thyroid condition.

Announcements Week of March 1, 2009

  • Remember that starting next week, March 8th (Daylight Savings Time Begins) we will resume meeting at 6PM for Sunday Evening Worship!

Prayer Requests / Sick List

  • Darrell Vanderlinden (Alma’s husband, Pam MacLean’s father) had surgery Wednesday the 25th.  The doctors had to remove a kidney due to the tumor, but there were no signs that there was any spreading.  The other kidney is functioning well, and the doctors are hopeful that he will not have to have dialysis.  He will be in Huntsville  Hospital for a few days for recovery.
  • Robert Pylant, Pat Steele’s father is in Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, AL with pneumonia.
